Production Blog: Filming Tomorrow

 Hello Again and Welcome back to the blog. Last blog I discussed what my group would be doing to film the music video and who would be doing what. Me and my group will be filming tomorrow. We have also made adjustments to the schedule. Me and my group will be filming tomorrow but we will only shoot scenes that require 3 people or less. We are doing this because most of the people we have contacted said they weren't able to help film on a weekday. Because of this, we have moved the rest of the filming to Friday, December 16th. We plan to film solo dances as well as the intro to the music video. There won't be much people around the area on a Tuesday afternoon so it works out perfectly. We also plan on scouting out some good locations to shoot at on Friday. After the first filming session I also plan on editing some of the clips together so I don't have to do it all in one day. This will be done some time in between Tuesday and Friday. Also, I will be editing the Music Video because I have a computer with editing software on it. During filming we have all decided to take turns filming in shots that we aren't in. We do not have a dedicated cameraman. Me and my group want to incorporate a diverse selection of Angles in the music video. The music video we chose is named "Happy" so we want to use shot angles to our advantage when we tell the story. We will try to use High angles to signify sadness and high angles to signify happiness. When shooting, we will keep this in mind because this will be a big part of our storytelling. We will experiment with adding shots in while we are there but we will also try as hard as possible to follow the storyboard.

Group Blog

 For an assigned group project, I was given the task to figure out who to choose as a group member for my group. I had many options on how many people I wanted in a group and I chose to have 1 other person in my group, as it reduces confliction and we can always recruit more actors. It is worth telling you that this is a project to simulate the production of a commercial for a chosen brand. I had many choices for who I would group up with. My original choice was to group up with a different friend but he was already in a group of 5, which seemed like too much to handle. I eventually chose my old friend Lucas.
