Planning for my sports drink commercial

Props: Because my group decided on a sports drink commercial, we decided we would choose Gatorade. would obviously need a bottle of Gatorade. Other than that, we will need sports equipment, this will include a basketball, an American football, American football gloves, two tennis rackets, and a tennis ball 

Costumes/Outfits: In this commercial, since official Gatorade commercials tend to have athletic people with athletic outfits, we decided to wear the most athletic clothing we own. This includes running shoes, a light T-Shirt, and breathable shorts. 


Schedule: 

On 10/6/22, research on the conventions within sports drink commercials will take place.


On 10/7/22, a plan for the commercial will be made, including the props, costumes, set, and location.


On 10/9/22, the storyboard for the commercial will be drawn, including details for each scene. The storyboard will include several hand-drawn pictures, and will be completed with thee intent of lasting 30 seconds.


On 10/12/22 the commercial for Gatorade will be shot at about 12pm


On 10/14/22, editing for the commercial will be completed using the software, "iMovie", and any problems that occurred within the commercial will be fixed. 


Location: We decided to meet at Bayview park as it was not only convenient for my group's home locations but it also features a large variety of sports facilities. We will use the Basketball Courts, Tennis Courts, Football field, and the Track. 


Backup Plan: If it rains, the film date will be moved up 2 days.

Group Blog

 For an assigned group project, I was given the task to figure out who to choose as a group member for my group. I had many options on how many people I wanted in a group and I chose to have 1 other person in my group, as it reduces confliction and we can always recruit more actors. It is worth telling you that this is a project to simulate the production of a commercial for a chosen brand. I had many choices for who I would group up with.
