Research Blog - New Song Choice!

 Hello Again! So, unfortunately we will not be doing the San Andreas Theme song and that is because it doesn't have any lyrics. So, we found a new song and honestly, we all agreed that it is better anyways. We chose the song Happy by Pharrell Williams. Going through the process of loking for this song, we started with the surroundings of our originally planned filming location. It is a very sunny place with bright colors. So, we thought it would be good to match that. We decided to choose the song Happy to match the setting of the music video. Other happy songs we thought of in the process were "Can't Stop the Feeling" but we thought that Happy was a much better option because there are many really long stops in the middle where we can end the video to fit the 1:15 time frame. We are also excited to do Happy because it is a very bright song and can be very cinematic. The landscape in the filming spot will match the song so well. We are very HAPPY to be doing this song.

Group Blog

 For an assigned group project, I was given the task to figure out who to choose as a group member for my group. I had many options on how many people I wanted in a group and I chose to have 1 other person in my group, as it reduces confliction and we can always recruit more actors. It is worth telling you that this is a project to simulate the production of a commercial for a chosen brand. I had many choices for who I would group up with. My original choice was to group up with a different friend but he was already in a group of 5, which seemed like too much to handle. I eventually chose my old friend Lucas.
