Research Blog - San Andreas Theme Song

    Hello Again! Doing research for this project was much easier because of our experience from the last project. During the process of doing research we had discussed many songs including Blinging Lights, a synthpop song by The Weeknd which we quickly decided not to do because of its length. We recognized that the Music Video had to be at most 1:15 so we decided to do a song that can easily be edited into a song of that length. My group has made the final decision on doing a Music Video for the Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Theme Song by Michael Hunter! This song has no music video but it has a very distinct sound somewhere between the genre of 90s Hip Hop and 2000s Hip Hop. It has many cut versions which we can use to fit the time frame and has a gangster vibe from the 90s LA Hip Hop scene. We are excited to use this song because there are many places in my neighborhood that have an old deco look that might resemble the 90s. I am mostly excited about doing this song because it can be very cinematic and tell a good story.

Group Blog

 For an assigned group project, I was given the task to figure out who to choose as a group member for my group. I had many options on how many people I wanted in a group and I chose to have 1 other person in my group, as it reduces confliction and we can always recruit more actors. It is worth telling you that this is a project to simulate the production of a commercial for a chosen brand. I had many choices for who I would group up with. My original choice was to group up with a different friend but he was already in a group of 5, which seemed like too much to handle. I eventually chose my old friend Lucas.
