Group Blog - Final Task | New Group!

For this project, I will be working with Lucas, Angel and Thomas. Angel has been in the same Media Studies class as me for the whole year and had met him for the first time about a week ago. He is nice and he is also has a really efficient work ethic. He seems like a good partner to work with. He seems very productive which will be better because my former groupmates and I were fairly disorganized in the sense that we had to do other things and couldn't start filming until the last possible minute. I knew of Angel earlier this year through mutual friends but haven't truly talked to him until last week. I do not know Thomas; he is a friend of Angel's and he seems nice. I think we will get along well. For the last project, my groupmates and I lived far away from each other which caused a lot of trouble when we had to film. The filming spot was distant for everyone except myself and it made little sense for us to do this again. So that is why I decided to change groups. I am excited to work with new people and I hope to be more productive on this assignment than the last. I think we will make a talented group because we have good fashion taste which should be very beneficial for making a movie. I decided to work in a group of 4 because it has more people, and the larger amount of people can make the work load easier. I feel like a group of 3 is beneficial in the sense that there is far less disagreement. If anyone disagrees with something, you can just take it to a vote whereas if you are in a group of 2, the only thing you can do is try to come to an agreement (which is very hard.) For this movie, we are very prepared. Each group member brings something to the table that is very beneficial to the project. I have good editing software so we will have no issue editing the movie, Angel has a good camera, and Thomas is a good actor. I felt it was in my best interest to work with two other people because we will have more connections and it allows us to have at least one more actor (minimum) and a good cinematographer. For the Movie, I have proposed the idea of a Spaghetti Western Movie but we are still indecisive about what we will truly be doing so I guess that will be revealed in the next blog!

 Hello Again and Welcome back to the blog. Last blog I discussed what my group would be doing to film the music video and who would be doing what. Me and my group will be filming tomorrow. We have also made adjustments to the schedule. Me and my group will be filming tomorrow but we will only shoot scenes that require 3 people or less. We are doing this because most of the people we have contacted said they weren't able to help film on a weekday. Because of this, we have moved the rest of the filming to Friday, December 16th. We plan to film solo dances as well as the intro to the music video. There won't be much people around the area on a Tuesday afternoon so it works out perfectly. We also plan on scouting out some good locations to shoot at on Friday. After the first filming session I also plan on editing some of the clips together so I don't have to do it all in one day. Planning Blog: Storyboard

  In page 1, Our main character, Thomas wakes up and greets his friend at a table. His friend is eating cereal. They see the clock and leave for work. Thomas drops off his friend and then he goes to work. On page 2, Thomas begins heading home from work. He notices his friend isnt there to be picked up but heads home without thinking much of it and goes home thinking he might be doing something. He wakes up to his friend not being at home and tries to report him as missing before forgetting his name alltogether. He says he will call back and looks for documents until he finds a paper mentioning his friend. His first name is riley.
