Intro Blog - Movie | Hello Again!

Hello Again! I am excited to be back and working on a new project as the last project was fun and the experience was awesome. Last project I had learned a lot about acting and especially filming. Because of the format of the music video we made, there were more shots that had to be filmed by separate people. Because of this, I had gained more experience in filming and had learned a lot about it. I also learned that a lot of planning for the Music Video comes from finding cool spots to film. Obviously, with music videos, you cannot really shoot in the same spot over and over again so it became interesting when trying to find a place for us to make a new shot. I had also learned more about editing. In the project before the last project I had taken a long time cutting all of the videos but while editing the music video I had learned that you can overlap videos instead of cutting the videos individually which sped up the process and made it easier. Another thing I had learned in the process of making projects was that team chemistry is very important. I felt that my group mates were more open-minded last project than the first project and because of that, our project flowed a lot more smoothly and produced a great music video. During the last project, overall, I had learned more about editing in iMovie, Acting, as well as Camerawork, which, in my opinion, I have improved the most in. Because of everything I have learned from the past 2 projects, I am extremely excited about my final project. For the final project, we were tasked with creating a 2-minute movie, complete with a title sequence, dialogue, credits, and more. However, I still have to decide on what type of movie I will be doing with my group mates. Anyways, I think it is time that I re-introduce myself. My name is Riley Kramer-Dew and I am a sophomore in High School taking AS Media Studies. Since the last project, I have gained new hobbies and interests. Since then, I have taken up Tennis and joined my High School's tennis team. I have also become interested in collecting Sports Cards. Anyways, that's about it and I am very excited for this last project. I have plans to make this better than both of the previous projects and am very eager to make my first movie!
