Production Blog: I am editing

     Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog. On my last blog, I talked about creating the title screen for my movie. I almost completed the title screen and I only have some final touches for it. Anyway, now that I am done filming, my group has the job of editing. Riley is the one who will be doing most of the editing for our film as he is the most qualified to edit and he has the best program for the job. My role in this is to edit the opening sequence. During filming with my group, I made sure to take many clips that could be used for the opening sequence of our film. I now had a lot to work with. I decided to take reference from some things that I observed on the 'WatchTheTitles' website a while ago. One series I took note to was a show called 'Bad Sisters'. In their opening sequence, it showed a Rube-Goldberg machine with violent aspects instead of typical physical transfers of energy. An example of this violent aspect would be a knife chopping an apple. A typical machine of this type would have a ball roll into a domino chain. I decided to incorporate some of these aspects but instead included the main character and some references to schizophrenia in the opening sequence.

Group Blog

 For an assigned group project, I was given the task to figure out who to choose as a group member for my group. I had many options on how many people I wanted in a group and I chose to have 1 other person in my group, as it reduces confliction and we can always recruit more actors. It is worth telling you that this is a project to simulate the production of a commercial for a chosen brand. I had many choices for who I would group up with. My original choice was to group up with a different friend but he was already in a group of 5, which seemed like too much to handle. I eventually chose my old friend Lucas.
