Research: How to make a short film

 I watched this fantastic video just before my group and I really got to work on our short film. Among the many important lessons I will never forget, I believe that planning was the most important one. The speaker in the video begins by outlining the importance of planning. It is beneficial to plan before you shoot since it lays a solid framework for your short film. According to the speaker, you have to write what you can "pull-off" in order to write a good short film. This implies that you must prepare and write in accordance with your available funds and resources. This will reduce the anxiety that arises from the inability to complete the short video effectively or as planned.

    We were given a ton of useful material and pointers for creating our short video. In addition to what I learned from the video, we also learned how important it is to set the tone for our short film. The speaker emphasizes how crucial the tone of the short film is. Each choice of camera position, location, lens, lighting, and clothing should harmonize with the overall tone of the short film. In the event that it doesn't, we run the danger of damaging our movie.  Hello Again and Welcome back to the blog. Last blog I discussed what my group would be doing to film the music video and who would be doing what. Me and my group will be filming tomorrow. We have also made adjustments to the schedule. Me and my group will be filming tomorrow but we will only shoot scenes that require 3 people or less. We are doing this because most of the people we have contacted said they weren't able to help film on a weekday. Because of this, we have moved the rest of the filming to Friday, December 16th. We also plan on scouting out some good locations to shoot at on Friday. After the first filming session I also plan on editing some of the clips together so I don't have to do it all in one day.   In page 1, Our main character, Thomas wakes up and greets his friend at a table. His friend is eating cereal. They see the clock and leave for work. Thomas drops off his friend and then he goes to work. On page 2, Thomas begins heading home from work. He notices his friend isnt there to be picked up but heads home without thinking much of it and goes home thinking he might be doing something. He wakes up to his friend not being at home and tries to report him as missing before forgetting his name alltogether. He says he will call back and looks for documents until he finds a paper mentioning his friend. His first name is riley.
